In a shocking turn of events, Kelly Monaco has been let go from the ABC Daytime soap, “General Hospital.” The Emmy nominated actress has played the role of Sam McCall since 2003. Monaco is no stranger to the network as she played the role of Livvie Locke on the “GH” spinoff, “Port Charles.”
Soap Opera Network was the first to break the news. The character of Sam is to be killed off, which blindsided Monaco, and her last scenes are to air later this fall.
