The BUZZ recently attended the PaleyLive event, “An Evening with ‘Shrinking,'” which included the entire cast on stage and a screening of the upcoming episode. Prior to the event, cast and crew members walked the red carpet to discuss the show, the season three renewal, and Golden Globe nominations.
One of the nominees include Harrison Ford for his portrayal of Paul Rhoades on the series. We had the opportunity to speak with Ford about his character, on-screen chemistry with his co-stars, and more.

NaVell J. Lee: Harrison Ford, pleasure to meet you! I have to ask…Wendie Malick. I love the character of Julie and her relationship with Paul…
Harrison Ford: I haven’t seen her yet, but she is here tonight.
NJL: She IS here?! That just made my heart warm. She’s incredible. What has it been like to work with her?
HF: Yes, she is. She’s very sweet, funny, and intelligent. She’s been a terrific work wife.
NJL: Not much else to say about that, and she makes every scene pop with you.
HF: It may be better to say, “*I* make every scene pop with *her*”…
NJL: *laughs*
HF: …TOO…AS WELL…
NJL: As well!
HF: Yeah… you COULD say that.
NJL: I could have!
HF: But, you didn’t.
NJL: I know, I’m terrible. That’s why I have a “NAUGHTY” Christmas hat on. I didn’t know. *laughs* However, that was one of the things I had to mention as the chemistry there is off the charts. Also, your scenes with Jason Segel as Jimmy, Luke Tennie as Sean, which you started having more scenes with, what has that been like? I love the sarcasm that comes through.
HF: I live for the energy between the characters. There’s that friction and the fact they are able to recognize the reality of our lives. Listen, people deal with impossible stuff in our world now. To watch, it’s very positive in their relationships. AND it’s smart and funny. It helps when it is funny.
NJL: I’m very happy and proud of this show. Mr. Harrison Ford, thanks for speaking with me!
