The BUZZ was joined by Patricia “Ms. Pat” Williams to chat about the re-imagining of the 1991 classic, “Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead.” While her role is not a prominent role in the film, her character definitely stole the movie in all scenes she was in. The actress and comedian spoke to us about the remake and how she loved the script:
“I really enjoyed the remake, and I am not big on remakes as is. We sometimes feel that classics should be left alone, and the original is a classic. I’ll tell you, though, the writers and directors did such a wonderful job making you feel like it was not a remake. It was an original. It was funny, updated, spicey…it was different even though it had been done before. I really enjoyed making this movie.”
It was recently announced that her series, “The Ms. Pat Show,” was renewed for a fifth season. She had this to say about that:
“We are in the writers room now kicking off season five. If you thought season four had you on a cliff, just wait until season five come!”
