Cast of Apple TV+ Series to Take Part in PaleyLive Program, “An Evening with Shrinking”

The Paley Center for Media today announced the latest selection of its acclaimed PaleyLive series: An Evening with Shrinking. Taking place on Thursday, December 12 at 7:00 pm at the Writers Guild Theater located on 135 South Doheny Drive, Beverly Hills, CA., the evening will feature an advance screening of the season two penultimate episode followed by a discussion with the cast and creative team. The second season of Shrinking is now streaming globally on Apple TV+.

Apple’s Shrinking, which stars Jason Segel and Harrison Ford in one of his first television roles, follows grieving therapist Jimmy (played by Segel), who starts to break the rules and tell his clients exactly what he thinks. Ignoring his training and ethics, he finds himself making huge, tumultuous changes to people’s lives … including his own. In addition to Segel and Ford, Shrinking stars Emmy Award-nominee Christa Miller, Emmy Award-nominee Jessica Williams, Luke Tennie, Michael Urie, Lukita Maxwell, and Ted McGinley. Season two also features a guest star appearance by Brett Goldstein.

Cocreated by Jason Segel, Bill Lawrence, and Brett Goldstein, Shrinking is produced for Apple TV+ by Warner Bros. Television. Lawrence, Segel, Goldstein, Neil Goldman, James Ponsoldt, Jeff Ingold, Liza Katzer, Randall Winston, Annie Mebane, Rachna Fruchbom, and Brian Gallivan all serve as executive producers. 

The Paley Center will screen the penultimate episode ahead of its December 18 premiere on Apple TV+, followed by a conversation with the cast and creative team including Bill Lawrence, Writer & Executive Producer; Brett Goldstein, Writer & Executive Producer (Louis); Jason Segel (Jimmy) Writer & Executive Producer; Jessica Williams (Gaby); Luke Tennie (Sean); Christa Miller (Liz); Lukita Maxwell (Alice); and Ted McGinley (Derek).
