The Buzz – BuzzWorthy Radio Wins Silver People’s Telly Award for Shrinking Cast Interview

There are certain moments that make you stop for a second and really take in how far something has come.

I’m incredibly honored to share that The Buzz – BuzzWorthy Radio has received a Silver People’s Telly Award for our interview feature surrounding Shrinking, featuring Christa Miller, Ted McGinley, and Michael Urie.

What makes this recognition especially meaningful is that it’s a People’s Telly Award — a reflection of audience connection. At the heart of everything I try to do with The Buzz is create conversations that feel genuine, thoughtful, entertaining, and human. Knowing that this episode resonated with listeners and viewers in such a strong way means more than I can fully put into words.

What’s also interesting about awards season is realizing that every organization evaluates creative work differently.

Some awards focus specifically on podcasting itself — the hosting, the storytelling, the conversation, and the overall editorial experience. Others, like the Telly Awards, place a strong emphasis on the visual and production side of media: editing, presentation, pacing, cinematography, and the complete viewing experience.

That’s part of what makes this recognition feel so special to me.

Before a People’s Telly Award is voted on publicly, the work first has to be shortlisted by industry judges. So this recognition represents both professional evaluation and audience connection. To know the episode resonated on both levels is something I genuinely don’t take lightly.

I think that speaks not only to the incredible cast and team behind Shrinking, but also to the type of conversations I strive to create with The Buzz — conversations that feel authentic, personal, and engaging rather than simply promotional.

When I started The Buzz – BuzzWorthy Radio, I simply wanted to create a platform where conversations about entertainment could feel personal, engaging, and authentic. To now see the platform recognized alongside so many incredible creators and productions is surreal.

I want to sincerely thank the cast of Shrinking — Christa Miller, Ted McGinley, and Michael Urie — for such a warm, funny, and thoughtful conversation. I also want to thank the incredible publicity team for the opportunity and support throughout the process.

And most importantly, thank you to everyone who continues to watch, listen, share, support, and believe in what I’m building. Every interview, article, episode, and opportunity continues pushing this platform forward in ways I never imagined.

This award is not the finish line. It’s motivation.

There is still so much more ahead for The Buzz – BuzzWorthy Radio, and I’m excited for what’s next.
