Billy Abbott is about to take on a whole new face and age this summer on “The Young and the Restless.” As former portrayer, Billy Miller, left the popular role in 2013, David Tom reprised the role after a 12 year hiatus. Tom first began playing a teenage Billy Abbott in 1999, leaving his Emmy winning role in 2002.

Daytime Confidential’s own Jamey Giddens has reported that Burgess Jenkins is set to take on the role of Billy, as the show is looking to go in a different direction for the character. Jenkins may be best recognized to viewers for his role on the Lifetime original series, “Army Wives.”

Look for Burgess Jenkins to make his debut on the CBS Daytime soap this June.
