On Friday’s episode of ABC’s, “The View,” the PODCRUSHED hosts Penn Badgley, Nava Kavelin, and Sophie Ansari, stopped by to promote the book, “Crushmore.” Co-Host Alyssa Farah Griffin mentioned Badgley’s TV roles, stemming from “Will & Grace,” “Gossip Girl,” and, “YOU.” However, it was his role as Phillip Chancellor IV on CBS Daytime’s, “The Young and the Restless,” that was talked about.
Farah Griffin presented a classic clip from 2000 featuring Badgley as Phillip, Tricia Cast as Nina Webster, and the late Francesco Quinn as Tomas. The actor calls the moment, “surreal,” as he could not remember the moment, yet he remembers his screen partners. He then joked about how his voice then was the same pitch as Cast’s voice, who played his mother.
