The 77th Emmy Awards are currently underway, and some of the winners from tonight’s telecast have been surprises in the best way possible. Majority of the winners announced were first time Emmy Award winners.
One of the first time winners of the evening was Katherine LaNasa, who plays the role of Nurse Dana Evans on the HBO Max series, “The Pitt,” for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. We got to speak with the actress on how this role has opened up her eyes to the healthcare community.
“It opened me up more as a human being, I think. It made me realize that you don’t know what people are going through. Kindness matters.”
