Fullback of the Seattle Seahawks, Michael Robinson, tackles Genoa City. The XLVIII Super Bowl champ recently taped an appearance on CBS Daytime’s “The Young and the Restless” last week.
Robinson recently did an interview with “NFL Total Access,” and revealed that one of his guilty pleasures was watching his stories, particularly “Y&R.” As the producers learned of this, they reached out, and Robinson was more than happy to make his acting debut on the #1 daytime drama.
He released a statement about his appearance:
“It was an amazing experience! I’ve been a fan for years, and it was great to meet the personalities on the show. I’ve always thought Y&R was the best show on daytime television because their storylines are always entertaining and intriguing. They welcomed me with open arms, and I felt like a part of the Y&R family.”
Look for Michael Robinson to share scenes with Eric Braeden, who plays Victor Newman, on the CBS Daytime soap.
“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays on CBS and weeknights on TVGN.
