Expect to see Sam McCall with a new face when the show returns in August. Lindsay Hartley will be temporarily playing the “General Hospital” role for a few weeks, according to Daytime Confidential. Kelly Monaco originated the role in 2003, and has been playing it ever since.
No reasons were given as to the temporary recast. Fans will remember Hartley for her roles on, “Passions,” as Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald, Arianna Hernandez on, “Days of our Lives,” and Cara Castillo on, “All My Children.”
