The 44th Annual Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards took place on Friday, April 28, 2017. These awards went to those who work behind the scenes of your favorite shows, that brings your favorite characters to life. Also, the technical awards also went to those that went have programs on cable and public access television, and shows that air on the weekend mornings.
Blair Underwood, star of ABC’s “Quantico,” received an Emmy for the show he produces for NBC entitled, “Give.” Underwood described it as, “Shark Tank for non-profits,” but would soon become more of an “Undercover Boss type for non-profits.” We spoke about the idea approach, as well as starting off in the television aspect 32 years ago with an early appearance on, “The Cosby Show.”
