HOLLYWOOD, CA (March 27, 2017) – Executive Producers Michael Caruso and Kyle Lowder announced today that their four-part adaptation of Ken Corday’s novel LADIES OF THE LAKE would stream exclusively at Amazon beginning Monday, May 15th. Boasting an all star cast of luminaries from the world of Daytime Dramas, LADIES OF THE LAKE is billed as a glossy limited run summer series that tells the story of the glamorous residents of the Southern California community of Avalon, and the dark secrets they hide behind their perfect facades. “It’s pure glamour” says Emmy Nominated producer and Ladies screenwriter Caruso. “The novel is the kind of fun poolside read that people crave, and when Ken permitted Kyle and I to adapt his novel we thought that the digital medium would be perfect for binge watching, which is why Amazon is the ideal home for Ladies of the Lake.”
Two-time Emmy Winner Sonia Blangiardo directs Three-time Emmy nominee Arianne Zucker, two-time Emmy nominee Lilly Melgar, Emmy nominee Martha Madison, Marie Wilson, Jessica Morris, and Primetime Emmy winner Patrika Darbo, who headline the mini-series as the gilded women of Avalon who are driven to commit unthinkable acts against their husbands, played by Emmy winners Wally Kurth, and Ian Buchanan, as well as Golden Globe nominee Gordon Thomson, and John-Paul Lavoisier. The cast is rounded out by indie darling Jillian Clare and Executive Producer and Emmy Nominee Kyle Lowder as Detective Shawn Daniels who said, “Bringing Ken Corday’s story to life was one of the most exhilarating and rewarding experiences of my career.
