Former “All My Children” alum, James Patrick Stuart, is heading back to daytime television. Soap Digest reports that the actor is coming to “General Hospital” in a role that has yet to be announced.

Patrick Stuart played the role of the dastardly Will Cortlandt on “AMC” from 1990-1992. His character was infamously killed off with a crowbar by Janet “From Another Planet” Green. He would later return to the show in 1995 as part of a “Will Cortlandt Look-Alike” storyline.

Post “AMC,” Patrick Stuart has made several guest appearances on primetime shows, including “Las Vegas,” “Supernatural,” “Nip/Tuck,” “Frasier,” and more. He also starred in the FOX series, “Andy Richter Controls the Universe.” He would work with “The Young and the Restless” star Eric Braeden and George Kennedy in the film, “The Man Who Came Back.”

Look for James Patrick Stuart to first appear on “GH” sometime in mid-July.
