Barry Sloane, who has had many roles in television both in the UK and the US, is set to star in the military action drama, “Six,” on the History Channel, Deadline reports. From A+E Studios, the 8-episode series follows Navy SEAL Team Six, whose mission in 2014 to eliminate a Taliban leader goes astray when they uncover a US citizen working with the terrorists.
Sloane is set to play the role of John “Bear” Graves, who is the recent appointed leader of Team Six. Also joining him in the cast are Dominic Adams, Juan Pablo Raba, and recently announced Joe Manganiello.
Sloane recently starred on the ABC series, “The Whispers.” He previously was known to many fans for his role of Aiden Mathis on “Revenge,” and also was seen in the recent season of the Netflix series, “Longmire.” UK soap fans knew him best for his role of Niall Rafferty on “Hollyoaks.” He also starred in the National Geographic Channel miniseries, “Saints & Strangers.”
