Alison Sweeney is known to many soap fans for playing the role of Samantha “Sami” Brady on the NBC Daytime soap, “Days of our Lives.” The actress began playing the role in 1993, and garnered a huge fan following over the course of her 21 years at the show.
Sweeney would soon become host of the primetime reality weight loss show, “The Biggest Loser,” and would soon pull double duty as director on “DAYS.” While the actress may have announced her departure from the soap, look for her name to appear on another soap very soon.
The actress confirmed on her official Twitter that she is set to direct episodes of the ABC soap, “General Hospital.”
