Ashley Abbott is coming home to Genoa City. Soap Opera Digest has reported that Eileen Davidson has inked a deal with “The Young and the Restless.” The actress has been making appearances on both “Y&R” and “Days of our Lives” as Kristen DiMera. Davidson will air at “DAYS” for a 12-week arc as Kristen.
She tells SOD:
They has been reaching out for quite a while and wondering what I wanted, so the deal we made suits my life very well. I’m really happy. I’ve put in a lot of years in this medium, which I don’t take for granted, so I’m very grateful.”
Look for Eileen Davidson to return to the CBS Daytime soap in early September, while her story at “DAYS” finishes airing on NBC.
