The 2014 Hollyweb Festival began this past weekend, with screenings Raleigh Studios in Hollywood, followed by the Awards Ceremony in Avalon Hollywood. The festival and award ceremony honors the best web content in the online community.
Among such categories that was up for consideration included: “Best Comedy,” “Best International Web Series,” “Best Drama,” and more.
The online web soap, “DeVanity,” took home the gold for “Best Online Soap.” The series, which concluded its final fourth season this year, was created and written by Michael Caruso. It previously won the award for “Best Writing” at last year’s Indie Series Awards.
