The Buzz attended the latest PaleyLive program, “30 Years of Everybody Loves Raymond: An Evening with the Legends of the Classic Sitcom.” It featured some of the creative team behind the Emmy-Award winning series reliving some memorable moments, laughs, and behind the scenes stories that is still popular today. The Paley Museum also has an exhibit to celebrate the series which has costumes worn on the show, scripts, behind the scenes photos, and Emmy Award statuettes. We had the pleasure of speaking with the talent that attended this special event.
Cindy Chupack, who was a writer for the series, discussed why she felt that Ray Romano was such a natural with his acting, even when he felt nervous about it in the beginning. She also shares her excitement about the Paley Exhibit and why I felt that Ray Barone/Romano was the multi-verse of CBS Monday night comedies.
