This past week, The Buzz attended the Paley Center for Media’s PaleyLive event, “Celebrating 20 Years of Shondaland,” which featured a conversation with Shonda Rhimes, Betsy Beers, James Pickens Jr., Conrad Ricamora, Bellamy Young, and Scott Foley. The panel was moderated by TODAY co-anchor Craig Melvin. The lineup spoke about some of their favorite moments from the Shondaland shows as well as behind-the-scenes secrets, including Pickens Jr. being the first AND only choice for the role of Richard Webber on “Grey’s Anatomy.” The Buzz had the opportunity to speak with the guests during the red carpet.

Scott Foley can currently be seen in the ABC series, “Will Trent,” but he was a big part of the Shondaland universe during his time on both “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Scandal.” Foley played Jake Ballard on the latter, and he revealed the tough scenes he had to film when his character killed off fan favorite James Novak (Dan Bucatinsky). He also revealed, or should I say teased, to us about the upcoming “Scream” movie, which left us to wonder this question… “What kind of capacity will these previous Ghostface Killers return as?”
