‘Dead City’ Drama Heats Up: Scott M. Gimple Dives Into Negan and Maggie’s Tense Season 2 Dynamic

This past week, the cast and crew of AMC’s “The Walking Dead: Dead City” visited The Paley Center for Media to discuss the upcoming season. We will be introduced to new characters in New Babylon, including Col. Lucia Narvaez (Dascha Polanco) and Bruegel (Kim Coates). Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Lauren Cohan, and Gaius Charles return this season, and the panel also featured chief content officer of “The Walking Dead” universe and executive producer Scott M. Gimple. Fans that attended were treated to a special preview showing of the season premiere followed by an insightful, yet hilarious, conversation with the cast moderated by Josh Wigler.

Executive Producer and Chief Content Officer of “The Walking Dead” Universe Scott M. Gimple stopped by to quickly talk about what’s next for Negan and Maggie in season two. He mentioned that there are some internal things that need to be worked out and that it may be seen in the upcoming season. We also briefly touched on the complexity of the Maggie/Negan relationship.
