The BUZZ had the opportunity to attend PaleyFest LA, which took place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, CA. We had the chance to experience panel discussions, got exclusive looks at the show’s newest seasons/episodes, and also spoke with the cast and creatives on the red carpet. Among the panels we participated in include, “The Handmaid’s Tale,” “Matlock,” “Poker Face,” and “Cobra Kai.”
Melanie Lynskey (Shauna, “Yellowjackets”) will be making a guest appearance in the second season of the Peacock original series, “Poker Face.” The show stars Natasha Lyonne who finds herself immersed in situations where she uses her ability to tell when people are lying and solve crimes in a somewhat Columbo-like fashion. The actress, who also appears in the episode with actor John Cho, talked about how this role is completely different from her “Yellowjackets” role.
Clea DuVall, who starred in season one as Lyonne’s sister in the season finale, is now returning in season two in a different capacity. This time, she is directing an episode of the show, and she spoke with us about being asked to come back as director. Both DuVall and Lynskey worked together in the cult classic film, “But I’m a Cheerleader!”
