BUZZCast Interviews: Daniella Rabbani Shares Love for ADL’s “In Concert Against Hate”

The 30th Anniversary of the Anti-Defamation League’s, “In Concert Against Hate,” took place on Monday, November 18th, at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. This event honored every day heroes who took extraordinary acts to stand up against hate and bigotry.

We had the pleasure of meeting Daniella Rabbani, and she spoke with us about the representation that showed up to support the ADL and “In Concert Against Hate.” We also bonded and spoke on how we need to stand up against hate for everyone around us and how we need to do better as a society in doing so.

With only three days left on her Kickstarter campaign, Rabbani is promoting her documentary, “Klezmerette,” which follows her recording her first album in New York City. Daniella along with experts in the field will delve into what Yiddish is, why it’s important to preserve, and its place in an ever evolving cultural landscape.  During a time of cultural alienation, this film serves as a means of understanding the many ways in which Jewish culture has contributed to the societies we live in at home in the US and abroad.
