The Paley Center for Media recently held its latest PaleyImpact program, “Still the Greatest: Muhammad Ali’s Triumphant Legacy.” The event explored how Muhammad’s iconic image has been made relevant for a younger generation, especially with the recent release of Undisputed, the first video game featuring boxing in ten years, while also spotlighting his artistry. The panelists also discussed why Muhammad Ali is considered the “Greatest of All Time,” and still inspires the world eight years after his death.
We had the honor to speak with Brian Custer, host of ESPN’s “SportsCenter,” and moderator of the evening’s event. Custer told us about what it was like when he got the call to be the host honoring Ali’s legacy. He also shared with a special memory with Ali, and we got to relieve some classic moments in his history outside of the ring. We also celebrated the 50th anniversary of Ali’s fight with George Foreman, also known as, “The Rumble in the Jungle.”
