The BUZZ is back with another double feature as we sat down with director and writer, Bernardo Britto, and director SADIEBONES, to talk about their respective films.
Britto, the writer and director of the movie, “Omni Loop,” explained the concept of the film, which revolves around a woman trapped in a time loop due to a metaphorical ‘black hole’ in her heart. We discussed the relatability of this concept and the potential consequences of reliving one’s past. We also highlighted the impressive acting performances in the film, particularly by Ayo Edebiri (“The Bear”) and Mary Louise Parker. Find out how the cast and the film came to be in the discussion.
SadieBones is the daughter of Kevin Corrigan, who starred in the sitcom, “Grounded for Life.” She shared insights about her movie, “If That Mockingbird Don’t Sing,” and her experience as one of the youngest directors in the film industry. We emphasized the importance of having new blood in the industry and highlighted SadieBones’ unique perspective, having grown up within the industry due to her family’s involvement.
Both “Omni Loop” and “If That Mockingbird Don’t Sing” are available on Video On-Demand (VOD).
