The BUZZ had the chance to speak with the VFX Supervisor for the Netflix movie, “Rebel Moon,” Marcus Taormina. The film was released in select theaters on December 15th and made available for streaming on December 21st. Taormina has worked in the visual effects scope for over a decade. His work includes, “The Amazing Spider-Man,” “The Amazing Spider-Man 2,” “Fast & Furious 6,” and “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.” He also was the VFX Supervisor for the film, “Bird Box.”
We spoke with Taormina about the red carpet premiere at the TCL Chinese Theatre and responding the fan reaction. He also spoke with us on the what was the most challenging piece to work on in the film.
