“Days of our Lives” to Pause Production Amid Albert Alarr Misconduct Investigation

In the midst of the recent misconduct allegations against co-executive producer Albert Alarr, “Days of our Lives” is halting production. Deadline reports that the Peacock soap is taking an unplanned hiatus beginning Monday, July 31st. No date has been revealed on when the cast and crew will return to work.

The investigation into the misconduct against Alarr took nine weeks, and Deadline also reported that 30 to 40 employees, primarily women, were interviewed. While the results were reported to Corday Productions, it was not shared with the staff. Alarr received a written warning and is to undergo training.
