Current “The Young and the Restless” star, Ignacio Serricchio, is set to join the cast of the FOX series, “BONES,” in a recurring capacity. TV Line broke the news that the actor is set to play the Jeffersonian’s newest squintern.
Serricchio’s character is described as a forensic anthropologist from Cuba who comes to the United States. The show’s executive producer, Stephan Nathan, tells TV Line:
“He has to work his way up to a position that he already occupied for many years. He feels that he’s Brennan’s equal, but Brennan really doesn’t feel the same.”
The actor/character is set to first air sometime this spring.
On “Y&R,” Serricchio plays the role of Det. Alex Chavez, and was formerly on ABC Daytime’s “General Hospital” as Diego Alcazar.
