The 44th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards took place at the Pasadena Civic Center Auditorium on Sunday, April 30, 2017. The biggest and brightest of daytime television were honored, and the stars shined on the red carpet.
Gladys Knight walked down the Emmy red carpet, as she presented the award for “Outstanding Drama Series.” We spoke with Ms. Knight about her love for daytime dramas, and how she became addicted to them. Plus, we reminisced about her television appearances, including, “A Different World,” alongside Jasmine Guy and Dawnn Lewis.
