With all the Lucas mentions in the town of Port Charles, it was bound to happen that he would be making an appearance soon, correct? Soaps in Depth confirms that Ryan Carnes will be returning to ABC Daytime’s “General Hospital” in the role of Lucas Jones, which he portrayed from 2004-2005 initially.
Lucas, who is actually the biological son of Julian Jerome and Cheryl Stansbury, was illegally adopted by Bobbie Spencer and Dr. Tony Jones at first. Cheryl’s sister, Tiffany, fought for custody, but ultimately, Bobbie and Tony won out, and was able to legally adopt him.
Executive Producer of “GH,” Frank Valentini, told SID:
“Yes, he’s coming back. I got to meet him the other day. I like him a lot.”
No official word as to when Ryan Carnes will first debut on-screen as Lucas once again. Keep it at THE BUZZ for more info as it comes.
