Since 1983, fans fell in love with Michael E. Knight as Tad “the Cad” Martin in Pine Valley on “All My Children.” The actor, who would play this role off and on until the show’s cancellation, would win three Daytime Emmy Awards (Two for Younger Actor, One for Supporting). TV Insider’s Michael Logan has reported that Knight has joined the cast of CBS’ “The Young and the Restless.”
Knight is set to play the recurring role of Simon Neville, who is described as, “a Genoa City doctor with mysterious intentions.” Aside from his well-known role at “AMC,” he also appeared on such primetime shows including, “Drop Dead Diva,” “NCIS,” and “Hot in Cleveland.”
Look for Michael E. Knight to first appear as Dr. Simon Neville on October 15, 2015.
