Soaps in Depth has reported that Alice Greczyn has joined the cast of CBS Daytime’s “The Young and the Restless” in the new role of Emma. Emma is a employee at Genoa City Memorial Hospital, but will fans will learn that she has interesting ties to a already established resident.
While most about Emma is being kept under wraps, SoapCentral posted a particular rumor…could Emma be the long-lost daughter of Victor Newman? Back in 1999, Victor was involved in a plane crash, and was presumed dead to his loved ones back home. While gone, he met a woman by the name of Ramona Caceres, and the two shared an instant attraction. (Also, during this time, Brad Carlton and Jack Abbott took over Newman Enterprises while Victor was gone.) In 2000, Victor and Ramona reunited for a short time, while Nikki Newman and Brad Carlton grew closer.
If this comes to light, and this rumor DOES turn to be true, how will Victor, let alone NIKKI, will react? He didn’t react too well about Dylan McAvoy being her and Paul Williams’ son.
Greczyn’s acting credits also include the ABC Family original series, “The Lying Game” and “Make It or Break It.”
Look for Alice Greczyn to first appear on “Y&R” sometime early September.
