While the Daytime Emmys ceremony is set to take place earlier in the new year, expect that to not be the only change for the event.
A returning category is set to make its way back in for 2015: “Outstanding Guest Performer in a Drama Series.” Actors/Actresses who have made a limited amount of appearances are able to submit for this category to get recognition. Another new category set to debut this coming year is: “Outstanding Performer in a New Approaches Drama Series” for both lead and supporting.
“Outstanding Host in an Entertainment Talk Show,” and “Outstanding Host in an Informative Talk Show” are two new categories. “Outstanding DIrecting in a Game Show” rounds out the new categories that are set to take place for next year’s ceremony.
The 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony takes place on Sunday, April 26, 2015.
