The 41st Annual Daytime Emmy Awards took place on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA. The BUZZ attended the ceremony and spoke to some of today’s hottest stars in daytime.
Kelli Goss stars in the CBS Daytime soap, “The Young and the Restless.” When the character was first introduced, she was only known as Summer Newman’s teen best friend. Now, fans know there was more to Courtney than just being Summer’s BFF. In fact, the character turned out to be a cop. We spoke with Goss about the transition from teen scene to cop queen:
“It was just as surprising to me when it came out. It was exciting to know that it would be such a shock and surprise. It was fun, because I got to play my more mature side. I get to be more protective of Noah, and I get to hold my own and show that I am a strong woman.”
Also, Goss revealed to us that this summer, expect to see more skin and new sets on “Y&R”:
“The Courtney/Noah romance heats up a little bit this summer. We have a few new things going on where we have some new sets that require a little less clothing. So, expect some summertime themed sets. That always make for some good romance.”
