The 53rd Daytime Emmy Award nominations have been announced today by The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. This ceremony celebrates the achievements of actors and television programs that air during the daytime hours. One of the biggest attributes to this year’s nomination pool was the inclusion of the CBS soap, Beyond the Gates, which saw several cast members receive nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series.
