Before he was making waves in “American Pie” and “Orange is the New Black,” Jason Biggs got his start on a daytime soap. He first appeared as Pete Wendall on, “As The World Turns,” for which he was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for Younger Actor in a Drama Series.
During his appearance on LIVE with Kelly & Mark yesterday, Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa, who are no strangers to soaps as the two first met on set of ABC’s “All My Children,” joked that Biggs first experience with a pie was on the former CBS soap opera. The show dug into the archives to find a clip of Biggs as Pete, along with Kathleen Widdoes as Emma Synder and Suzenne Marie Seradwyn (Susan Marie Snyder) as Julie Wendall Snyder. He would soon stare in shock that they found a clip from the show and react in a surprising manner.
