BUZZ Interviews: Lew Schneider Looks Back on ‘Make the Grade’ Days and Writing for ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’

The Buzz attended the latest PaleyLive program, “30 Years of Everybody Loves Raymond: An Evening with the Legends of the Classic Sitcom.” It featured some of the creative team behind the Emmy-Award winning series reliving some memorable moments, laughs, and behind the scenes stories that is still popular today. The Paley Museum also has an exhibit to celebrate the series which has costumes worn on the show, scripts, behind the scenes photos, and Emmy Award statuettes. We had the pleasure of speaking with the talent that attended this special event.

Lew Schneider, who served as a writer and executive producer of the Emmy-winning sitcom, went back in time with us to relive his hosting duties on the Nickelodeon game show, “Make the Grade.” We also talked about what makes the CBS series a show that everyone still loves to watch after the show ended 20 years ago.
