The BUZZ had the chance to cover San Diego Comic-Con, and it was a jam-packed year! From activations to star-studded panels, it was one that was a can’t miss. During the course of the 5 days, which include preview night, we conducted several interviews with talent showcasing our nerd-dom but also love for this environment.
Bob Bergen, who has voiced Porky Pig since 1990, has taken on another voiceover role, and that is the voice of Me-TV Toons. Bergen can be heard doing the promos, interstitials, and intros for the new channel devoted to classic TV cartoons. The network, which made its debut on June 25th, houses classic Hanna-Barbera, Looney Tunes, DiC cartoons, and more, that has not been seen in over a decade. Bergen teased us that new classic cartoons will be added to the lineup, the creation of the network, and the Totally Animated 80s block, featuring, “Police Academy” and “Mr. T.”
