The Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards were held at the Westin Bonaventure in Los Angeles, CA, and honored the excellence on daytime television programming from those behind the scenes. From make up artists, casting directors, and music composers, this is a night where they got to shine. Also, the creative teams on court legal shows, Netflix original programming, and children’s programs also were honored.
The cast of “Eastsiders” (Constance Wu, Brea Grant, Van Hansis, Kit Williamson, and John Halbach) stopped by to celebrate the show’s nomination for “Outstanding Digital Drama Series.” Also, Hansis was back in the nomination game since his “As The World Turns” days. We spoke about how they came together and created the show. Also, Halbach and Williamson shared with us about their special wedding day.
