It’s not a bird, it’s not a plane, but a new character hitting up the Genoa City elite very soon. Helen Slater, who is known to many audiences for her portrayal of SUPERGIRL, has joined the cast of CBS Daytime’s “The Young and the Restless” in a recurring role.
TV Guide’s Michael Logan reports that Slater is set to play Dr. Chiverton, an OB/GYN, but who exactly will be requiring her services in town? Aside from her playing Supergirl, the actress has also played Clark Kent’s birth mother, Lara-El, in “Smallville,” and had toles on “The Lying Game” and “Ruthless People.”
Look for Helen Slater to first debut on “Y&R” on May 2 for at least five episodes.
