The BUZZ recently sat down with Daniel André to talk about the film, “Running on Empty.” The movie centers around a young man named Mortimer who has been given a death date within a year. Ever since this news surfaced for him, Mort has been trying to find exactly what is the meaning of the life with bumps along the way.
We spoke with André regarding some of the aspects of the film, including one where a particular scene paid homage to a popular 80’s movie. Find out how that came about as well as if we ever wanted to know our own death date. Also, hear his thoughts on working with famous directors, including Michael Bay and James Cameron.
“Running on Empty” will be having a special screening, followed by a Q&A with André, Monica Potter, and Rhys Coiro, at the Regal on Santa Monica Blvd at 7 PM PT.
