The BUZZ is deeply saddened to report that Brad Everett Young, who fans enjoyed his photography work, has died following a traffic accident, his publicist and family confirm. Young was best known as the founder of Dream Loud Official, a grassroots initiative dedicated to restoring and preserving music and art programs in schools nationwide. Through this work he inspired students, teachers, and artists alike, reminding communities that creativity is not a luxury but an essential part of education.
He photographed many actors and artists in the industry, including Seth Green, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Giles Marini, just to name a few. Most of his work is also loved by the soap opera community, from both actors and the fans. Fans would always want to see what was in store for their favorites when he got them under the photographic lens. From Nicholas Chavez and Tabyana Ali, Courtney Hope, Rory Gibson, Chris L. McKenna, Casey Moss, and others, Young’s shots were top tier.
His portfolio includes projects or shoots in Vanity Fair, People, Deadline, Harpers Bazaar, Elle, Vogue, The Hollywood Reporter, Variety, and many more. He even stepped in front of the camera where got to appear in such shows as, “Boy Meets World,” and, “Numb3rs.”
Paul Christensen, Young’s publicist, released a statement:
“Brad’s passion for both the arts and the people behind them was unmatched. He lived his mission of keeping creativity alive, and his legacy will continue through Dream Loud Official. His family asks for your prayers and thanks you for their privacy at this time.”
