The Buzz attended the Daytime Emmy Nominee Reception at the London – West Hollywood, where the daytime community celebrated this year’s nominees. We spoke to several of the attendees on the red carpet.
Emmy nominated Daniel Polo played the role of Jamie Vernon on CBS Daytime’s “The Young and the Restless.” The actor was involved in one of the most buzzed about storylines in 2013, which involved his character being bullied by Fenmore Baldwin (Max Ehrich) and Summer Nemwan (Hunter King). We spoke with Polo about the challenge of taking on a story of this capacity, and what did he like the most about portraying the character. We also spoke with him about what was his reaction when he learned of his Emmy nomination.
