It looks like Esme’s time in Port Charles has come to an end, as actress Avery Pohl exits “General Hospital.” Soap Opera Digest first reported the news on Pohl’s departure, revealing her last airdate was January 31st. Esme’s final scenes showed her and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) going overboard a ship to their presumed deaths.
Pohl first came to the Port Charles circuit in 2021, and her character would be soon be revealed to be the daughter of Ryan Chamberlain and Heather Webber. From there, Esme did everything she could to break up Spencer and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), forged a rivalry with Ava Jerome (Maura West), slept with Spencer’s father and conceived a child, and tried to kill both Trina and Spencer.
Will Heather seek vengeance when she learns that her daughter is dead (even though she did try to warn Esme to not do anything stupid beforehand)?
