News this past weekend set the Internet astounded when TMZ broke that Paul Walker, who rose to fame in the “Fast and Furious” movies, died in a fiery car accident. The actor, along with friend Roger Rodas, were leaving a charity event, and the car crashed into a tree which burst into flames.

The latest in the “Fast and Furious” franchise had only a month left of production before it wrapped. The movie itself was slated to hit theaters in July 2014. The Wrap’s Sharon Waxman and Lucas Shaw posted the news that production has stalled as producers and executives struggle with Walker’s death.

Walker first got his start on the CBS Daytime soap, “The Young and the Restless,” as Brandon, who played a potential love interest for Victoria Newman, then played by Heather Tom. Fans, former colleagues, and current co-workers took to their personal Twitter accounts and other forms of social media to express their love, condolences, and messages for the loss of Walker.

We here at THE BUZZ offer the sincerest condolences to Paul Walker’s family. Many blessings to all.
