After wrapping the upcoming “Ladies of the Lake,” Martha Madison is at it again by booking a recurring role on the Amazon dark comedy, “One Mississippi.” Madison tweeted the news to her fans about booking the gig:
“HOLY SCHMOLY! Just booked a recurring gig on One Mississippi! So excited for the table read tomorrow! #Comedy #PrimeTime #Amazon“
The series, which is a semi-autobiographical tale by Tig Notaro, follows Tig as she returns to her hometown after the sudden death of her mother. While Tig is suffering through her own health issues, she also has to deal with the loss of the one person who understood her in this world, her clingy girlfriend, and her dysfunctional family.
The pilot was released on Amazon Prime on November 5, 2015, with new episodes to return later this year.
