BUZZCast Interviews: Actor Edward Crawford & Author Joe Lansdale

The BUZZ had a jam-packed show with two guests to speak on their upcoming projects. We first chatted with Edward Crawford, who stars in the Indie film, “60 Miles North.” Crawford plays Clarence (which is his actual first name) and follows the events of getting a great hosting gig…only for it to taken away from him. The film is a depiction of Crawford’s real-life experiences, as he was the original host of the game show, “Cash Cab,” but lost it to Ben Bailey due to an undisclosed DUI. We also got into the conversation about his diagnosis of Lyme Disease, which was also incorporated into the film. Half a million Americans live with this disease undiagnosed, and we hope to call attention to this by our discussion and his upcoming film.

Our second guest was Joe Lansdale, who has a new book coming out called, “Sugar on the Bones,” which is a part of the Hap and Leonard series. This has spanned for over 34 years and worked into a television series starring James Purefoy, Michael Kenneth Williams, and Christina Hendricks. Another one of his novels, “The Thicket,” is set to be released in theaters on September 6th, which will star Peter Dinklage and Juliette Lewis. We spoke with him about the latest book, along his contributions to, “Batman: The Animated Series,” “Superman: The Animated Series,” “Batman Beyond,” and much more!

“60 Miles North” will be released on July 9th via Amazon and Fandago at Home, while “Sugar on the Bones” hits the shelves on July 18th.
