Roger Howarth Bids Farewell to “General Hospital”

Much speculation took to social media regarding Roger Howarth’s status at the ABC soap, “General Hospital.” Friday’s episode showed the character of Austin falling victim to a bullet by a mysterious shooter. Now, the actor took to his Instagram to relay the news of his departure:

Howarth joined the show in 2012 in his former “One Life to Live” role of Todd Manning, which he would play until the following year. He would return to the show in May 2013 as Franco Baldwin, and the character was killed off in 2021. He would eventually return as another new character, Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt.
