This past week, musician BeLL premiered her video cover of R.E.M.’s “Losing My Religion,” which was originally released in 1991. The video was directed by Jen Rosenstein, and featured Robert Palmer Watkins, who plays Dillon Quartermaine on ABC’s “General Hospital.”
In an interview with The Advocate, Rosenstein made mention that the staff who worked on the video were all queer women, and each person shown in the video showcased them in a dark room, which represented their inner struggle that many may experience.
“It doesn’t matter if we are gay, straight, bi, queer or transgender. At some point we go through the dark and make it out to the light.”
