In a move that surprised many (and to some, it flashed them back to 2008), “Days of our Lives” has released four of its actors from the canvas.
Martha Madison (Belle Black Brady), Brandon Beemer (Shawn-Douglas Brady), Sal Stowers (Lani Carver), and Marie Wilson (Summer) have been let go from the series, according to Daytime Confidential. The characters of Belle and Shawn returned to Salem in coordinance to “DAYS'” 50th anniversary. Lani was revealed to be the long-lost daughter of Abe Carver (James Reynolds), and Summer was introduced as the woman in Brady’s (Eric Martsolf) dreams.
As many soap fans know, there are at times during regime changes, the writers tend to start writing off characters off the canvas. These four could possibly be the start of more to come. Previously, it was announced that Ryan Quan would be co-headwriting alongside Dena Higley, after Josh Griffith decided to depart the series.
