During our third year at San Diego Comic-Con, we at The BUZZ participated in numerous activations, attended some noteworthy panels, and experienced great show floor moments. Also, we interviewed some incredible talent promoting upcoming projects.

Our final round of interviews with the cast of Red Sonja is with Martyn Ford. The actor plays General Karlak in the film, and he is half-human, half-ape, and is described as a cruel henchman to Draygon (Robert Sheehan). The actor talked about enduring the hours of prosthetics he had to put on, but he also specified how he enjoyed the challenge of playing this enduring role. We also got to talk about his time in the film, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, which was one of his first roles. Finally, we got to talk about mental health and how we can view it is not a negative, but we can turn it around into a positive.

Watch the full interview with Martyn Ford below:

Red Sonja premieres in theaters Wednesday, August 13th.
